In practice for over twenty years, Laura Lipinski provides estate and tax planning services to individuals, employing diverse techniques in drafting wills, trusts (revocable, irrevocable, insurance, charitable, personal residence), family limited partnership agreements, and powers of attorneys and living wills. She represents both fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and trust administration and litigation. Laura is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is knowledgeable in the legal issues facing the elderly and disabled. She serves as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem in adult guardianship cases, represents guardians of minors and disabled adults in guardianship proceedings, and assists parents of disabled individuals by drafting special needs trusts.
Laura also handles residential and commercial real estate purchases/sales and asset-based and real estate financing transactions, representing both financial institutions and business entities.
Laura practiced with the downtown Chicago law firm of Schwartz Cooper Chartered for over 20 years prior to bringing her trusts, estates and real estate practice to the western suburbs.
